Founded in 1988, we are a Canadian-owned and operated company with a proven ability to provide sound answers to our customers' process needs. Our 20,000 square foot facility is uniquely and strategically situated close to highway 401 in the rapidly expanding town of Milton, Ontario. We foster a motivated employee base and quality atmosphere with a compact management structure that can quickly react to the needs of our customers.

Micro-Tech originally started as a small, general machine job shop, with our primary area of expertise in machine repair and custom machine building. Having invested heavily in technology to become a competitor in production machining, we have developed specific products and processes that have enabled the company to change it’s focus to high-tech production machining.

In 1994, Micro-Tech recognized a market need for providing precision machined production products for the automotive and aerospace industries and repositioned ourselves to respond to this need. Our strategy: Improve company capabilities in human resources and capital equipment in order to become supplier of choice for production machining requirements in North America.

Micro-Tech successfully registered to ISO/TS-16949 early in 2003. This move placed Micro-Tech in an early competitive position in North America with regard to it’s operating system. The registration to ISO/TS-16949 not only enhances our operating system but also adds to our ability to regain manufacturing commerce that is being lost to off shore markets. One of only a few of the small to medium-sized general machine shop facilities in the Greater Toronto Area that has a TS2 registered quality system, we can provide the level of production and planning needed to compete as a tier-one supplier.
